In the end, you'll have 2 quarts of the most delicious homemade chicken broth to use in soups, stews, casseroles, and any recipe that calls for chicken broth. Plus, you’ll have 4 cups of delicious chicken to use in your favorite recipe. Keep the chicken broth for up to 5 days in the refrigerator or 3 months in the freezer.

Step 1

Place chicken, onion, carrot, celery, salt, peppercorns, bay leaves, parsley in pot. Cover with water. Simmer for 1 hour. Strain and let cool.

Step 2

Shred chicken and save for soups, stews, salads, and other meals.

Step 3

Refrigerate Homemade Chicken Broth for up to 5 days in refrigerator or freeze for up to 3 months.
