Our Instant Pot BBQ Pulled Pork is smoky, flavorful, tender, and so juicy! Make it quick in an instant pot or cook it slowly in the oven or slow cooker (instructions for cooking all 3 ways below!)

Ingredients

Directions

Step 1

Combine sea salt, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper. Season the Pork Shoulder Roast by rubbing the seasoning mixture on all sides.

Step 2

Add 1/2 cup of apple juice, 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, roast, onion and garlic to pressure cooker, slow cooker, or roasting pan if preparing in an oven.

Step 3

To Cook pork in a Pressure Cooker: Put lid on, move valve to sealing position, and cook on HIGH pressure for 90 minutes. Allow to natural release.

Step 4

To Cook pork in an Oven: Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Put the pork in a roasting pan and bake for about 6 hours or until pork is fork-tender and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 170° F.

Step 5

Shred pork with forks.

Step 6

Serve on a bun and drizzle with your favorite BBQ sauce.
