Sausage and Egg Sandwich with Hash Brown Bun
Extraordinary Breakfast sandwich with a hash brown bun with sausage,
fried egg, and melted cheese for a tasty and tempting morning meal.
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
For Hash bun:
- 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1/2 Onion, grated
- 1 Egg
- pinch salt & pepper
- 1 lb package Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns
Sandwich fillings:
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Sausage Patties
- 2 slices Cheddar Cheese

Instructions:
Hash bun:
- Combine shredded cheddar cheese, flour, onion, egg, salt, pepper, and Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns in a large mixing bowl. Mix together.
- With your hands, flatten a palm-sized amounts of the mixture into a bun shape; repeat until you have the desired amount (two buns per sandwich).
- Fry each bun in a pan until both sides are golden-brown in color; remove from heat.
Sandwich fillings:
- In the same pan, fry the eggs and sausage patties until done.
- Remove from heat; stack egg and sausage on top of one hash bun.
- Top with a slice of cheddar cheese.
- Finish the sandwich by adding the second hash bun on top.
