Take a trip down memory lane with our classic and easy-to-make Strawberry Pretzel Salad recipe. It's the perfect combination of sweet, salty, and nostalgic goodness that your whole family will love!

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Step 2

Combine 3 cups crushed pretzels, 1.25 cups melted butter, and 4.5 Tbsp sugar in a bowl. Spray a 9x13" pan with cooking spray. Press mixture firmly into a prepared pan. Bake for 8 minutes and cool completely.

Step 3

Beat together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar with an electric mixer until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled pretzel crust. Refrigerate for 45 minutes or overnight, covered with plastic wrap.

Step 4

Whisk together jello and 2 cups boiling water until jello is completely dissolved.

Step 5

Remove from refrigerator once firm and place strawberries in a single layer.

Step 6

Pour Jell-O mixture on top of the strawberries and cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until firm.

Step 7

Serve with additional whipped cream, pretzels and sliced strawberries, as desired.

Cook's Notes

This recipe can be prepared in part a day ahead at the cream cheese layer. This recipe is good in the refrigerator up to 5 days, covered with plastic wrap.
