Mac & Cheese Tater Tot Casserole |
This recipe is easy enough for kdis to help! Turn ordinary mashed potatoes into crispy mashed potato puffs filled with bacon, chives, and cheese! It is a nice alternative to traditional mashed potatoes. Mashed with instant mashed potatoes, this recipe is quick and easy to prepare.
Mac & Cheese Tater Tot Casserole
Mac & Cheese is a kid-favorite, make it a full meal by adding taco meat and tater tots! It is comfort food at its best. It’s ready to pop in the oven in just about
15 minutes.
Servings: 6
- 1 box Food Club Macaroni & Cheese
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/2 lb Ground Beef
- 2Tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese
- Frozen Tater Tots
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook ground beef until browned. Add taco seasoning with 6Tbsp water, bring to boil then simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside.
- Bring water to boil in large pot.
- Add Macaroni noodles and cook for 7-9 minutes. Drain pasta.
- Add butter, milk, and cheese from package. Stir until fully combined.
- Place macaroni & cheese in 8x8 baking dish.
- Top with taco meat.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Top with frozen tater tots, about 45 or 1/2 bag.
- Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes
